Cinematic Clinic is the film practice of Shahab Balamchi, a Toronto-based commercial cinematographer who has spent seven years inside beauty and health clinics — more than forty of them, over five thousand hours behind the lens.
Every film is produced with his team at Divan Group and delivered in Canada, the United States, Spain and the UAE, in English and Persian.

Why a person, not an agency
A clinic is a medical space where people are seen at their most vulnerable. Whoever holds the camera has to understand skin, consent and silence before they understand shutter speed. That is a person, with a name, who has done it forty times — not a rotating crew.
